
G87 M2 GT4+ Front Splitter Overview
The RM Engineering GT4+ Front Splitter Kit is a vehicle-specific, chassis-supported front aero system for the 2023+ BMW G87 M2. It combines a pre-preg carbon fiber front lip and airdam with an RM Spec foam-core carbon composite splitter, molded airflow tunnels and dedicated chassis-mounting brackets.
Full-vehicle CFD analysis reports 152.9 lbf of integrated splitter downforce at 120 mph using velocity-squared scaling, with a splitter lift-to-drag ratio of 5.81.
Tunneled Splitter and Chassis-Supported Structure
The upper carbon fiber front lip follows the factory G87 M2 front bumper and forms an airdam above the lower splitter. Molded tunnels help manage airflow beneath the front of the vehicle, while dedicated brackets support the splitter through the vehicle’s front structure instead of relying solely on the bumper cover.
Titanium and aluminum skid blocks help protect contact areas on the underside of the splitter during normal road and track use.

The native full-vehicle CFD simulation was performed at 100 km/h. The 120 mph figures use a velocity-squared scaling factor of 3.729583 and were not independently simulated at 120 mph.
The reported splitter forces are integrated over selected splitter surfaces. They do not represent a comparison with the stock vehicle or the total load at the front axle. In the complete analyzed configuration, the full vehicle produced 489.2 lbf of net downforce at 120 mph using V² scaling, with a calculated aerodynamic load distribution of 48.5% front and 51.5% rear.

Installation
Professional installation is required. Installation involves removing front bumper and underbody components, positioning the carbon fiber front lip and tunneled splitter, and securing the chassis-mounting brackets to the vehicle’s front structure.
Test-fit and align all components before drilling, cutting or permanently securing the assembly. Selected factory bumper or underbody components may require modification to provide clearance for the mounting structure.
Confirm cooling airflow, ground clearance and hardware security after installation. Inspect the splitter, brackets, skid blocks and fasteners regularly, particularly after track use or contact with road surfaces. Do not lift or support the vehicle by the splitter.
