Warranty & Inspection Policy
All products must be carefully inspected within seven (7) calendar days of delivery.
Any claim involving damage, defects, missing parts, or incorrect items must be submitted within this seven-day inspection period. Claims made more than seven days after delivery will not be eligible for warranty coverage, replacement, return, or refund.
Customers are responsible for inspecting the product and confirming that it is correct, complete, undamaged, and suitable for the intended vehicle before installation.
Products must not be installed if any damage, defect, fitment issue, or missing component is discovered. Please contact us before proceeding with installation.
Once a product has been installed on a vehicle, it is considered accepted by the customer and is no longer eligible for warranty coverage, return, replacement, or refund.

JQ Werks Madtrace adjustable magnetic paddle shifters let you set paddle angle and distance relative to a compatible BMW or Supra steering wheel. This listing focuses on the supported F80/F82/F87, G80/G82/G87 and A90 Supra applications. It is a shifter upgrade, not a GEN2 racing steering-wheel hub conversion.
Why adjustable geometry matters
Reach is an ordering and setup consideration: the angle and distance adjustment lets the installed paddles be positioned for the wheel arrangement. Magnetic return provides a defined engagement and return feel. These are control-interface characteristics, not a claim of faster transmission shifts or increased engine performance.
Construction and configuration
- CNC-machined, hard-anodized 6061-T aluminum components and neodymium magnets.
- Choose the listed matte/gloss carbon-inlay finish or billet-aluminum paddle option for the selected application.
- Supplied kit includes two complete adjustable shifter units, the selected paddle arrangement, application hardware and an Allen key.
- Confirm existing steering-wheel and paddle-housing fitment; finish availability varies by variant.
Compatibility boundaries
Confirm exact chassis and shifter version before ordering. JQ states that Formula-style and GT-style blades from the non-adjustable kit are not shared with the all-new adjustable version. Do not reuse older blades solely because they are the same brand.
Questions before you order
Can I reuse blades from my older non-adjustable kit?
JQ says those blades are not interchangeable with the all-new adjustable version. Confirm the installed hardware before buying a separate blade set.
Does this replace the entire steering wheel?
No. The product is the compatible adjustable magnetic shifter assembly. The GEN2 Clubsport racing steering-wheel system is a different product category.
Use and warranty
JQ specifies off-road use only. Its stated mechanical warranty does not extend to cosmetics, finish wear or electronics. Confirm the terms and application before installation.
