A Clubsport build starts with understanding what the car needs—not simply adding more parts.
Aarie's BMW F87 M2 Competition was developed around that principle. Rather than turning the car into a dedicated race car, the build focuses on the areas that most influence the F87 when driven harder: aerodynamic support, chassis control, braking, and driver support.
The result combines a Ridgeline Motorsport GTS chassis-mounted front splitter and Ring Spec Wing V2 with Nitron R3 suspension, Paragon ENP brakes, BBS E88 motorsport wheels, and OEM BMW performance and racing-derived components.

What makes the build stand out is not the number of modifications, but how those components come together as a cohesive Clubsport setup.
Chassis-mounted Front Aero
For a functional front splitter, the mounting system is part of the design.
Aarie's M2 uses our F87 M2 GTS Front Splitter, inspired by the OEM BMW F82 M4 GTS front splitter. Instead of relying solely on the factory bumper structure, the splitter is secured to the vehicle's front structure through two stainless steel chassis-mounting brackets.
That distinction matters as aerodynamic loads increase with speed. The splitter is not simply being used as a visual extension of the bumper; its support structure is designed around transferring load into the vehicle's chassis.

The lower splitter is also adjustable, allowing the front-end configuration to be fine-tuned as the car's ride height and suspension setup change.
This is particularly relevant on a build using adjustable suspension. Aero and chassis setup should not be treated as completely separate systems.

Why Aarie's M2 Uses the 235iR Spec High-mount Wing
At the back, Aarie's M2 runs our Ring Spec Wing V2 in its 235iR Spec configuration, mounted via the Ridgeline Motorsport High-Mount Wing Bracket at 25 cm — the tallest mounting position in our lineup, and a step beyond the wing's own standard mount options. Unlike a generic universal bracket, this mount was developed entirely in-house: original CAD design, multiple rounds of 3D-printed prototyping, and a final structure machined from hollow 6061-T6 aluminum for strength without added weight. The height itself was benchmarked against BMW's own F82 and G82 M4 GT4 race cars, giving Aarie's M2 a wing stance that reads as genuinely competition-level rather than aesthetic-only.

Nitron R3: Giving the Chassis Room to be Tuned
Once an F87 M2 moves toward more demanding driving, suspension becomes one of the most important variables in the car's behavior.
Aarie's M2 uses Nitron R3 adjustable suspension, providing the damping adjustability needed to tune the chassis for different driving environments.
That adjustability is particularly useful for a dual-duty build. A road-oriented setup and a circuit-oriented setup do not necessarily require the same balance, and the ability to make changes gives the driver more control over how the car responds.
The goal here is not simply to make the M2 lower or stiffer.
It is to give the chassis a tunable foundation that can be adjusted around the driver's needs and the conditions in which the car is being used.
Braking and Wheels: Supporting the Chassis
With more capable aero and adjustable suspension in place, braking becomes another important part of the overall chassis package.
Aarie's M2 runs the Paragon ENP brake system, adding performance-oriented braking hardware to a car intended for spirited driving and track use.

For repeated circuit sessions, braking is not only about initial stopping performance. Consistency as temperatures and driving intensity increase is an important part of building driver confidence.
The chassis setup is completed by gold BBS E88 motorsport wheels. Their classic multi-piece motorsport design adds a strong visual identity to the car while remaining consistent with the functional character of the rest of the build.
A Driver-focused Motorsport Environment
The same philosophy continues inside the cabin.
A OEM BMW M2 CS Racing roll cage adds a dedicated motorsport element to the interior, paired with OEM BMW GTS seats manufactured by Recaro.
The combination shifts the driver's environment toward track use while retaining a strong connection to BMW's own performance and racing heritage.

Ahead of the driver is the JQ Werks Podium Line Hub System, replacing the factory steering-wheel interface with a quick-release racing setup and bringing the steering controls closer to the driver's preferred position.

Above the cabin, the factory carbon fiber roof and GTS hood continue the lightweight, motorsport-oriented theme.
Rather than adding unrelated visual modifications, the interior and exterior components all reinforce the same direction: making the F87 feel more purposeful from the driver's seat outward.
