Development Never Stops — Tim's A90 Supra GT4+ Development Car

Tim's Toyota A90 Supra serves as the primary development platform for the Ridgeline Motorsport GT4+ Aero Kit, playing a critical role in refining every aerodynamic surface through real-world testing and continuous iteration. Every lap, every setup change, and every data point has helped shape the GT4+ package into what it is today.

The Complete GT4+ Aero Package

The car is equipped with the complete Ridgeline Motorsport A90 Supra GT4+ Kit, developed to deliver maximum aerodynamic efficiency while remaining compliant with popular time attack and street-class competition.

Rather than designing individual components in isolation, the GT4+ system was engineered as a complete aerodynamic package. The front splitter, dive planes, canards, side aero components, rear diffuser, and rear wing all work together to create a balanced platform that inspires confidence under braking, through high-speed corners, and on corner exit.

Every component exists for one reason—to make the car faster.

Proven Where It Matters

Performance claims mean very little without results.

Running a stock turbocharger and factory transmission, the GT4+ development car has already demonstrated what a properly engineered aerodynamic package can achieve.

On 275-width 200TW tires, the car has recorded:

• WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca — 1:33

• Buttonwillow Raceway CW13 — 1:50

These lap times were achieved without upgraded engine internals or transmission modifications, highlighting the effectiveness of the complete chassis, suspension, brake, and aerodynamic package.

For us, this is only the beginning.

Built Around Performance

Supporting the GT4+ aero system is a carefully selected collection of motorsport hardware.

Braking duties are handled by Paragon Brakes, providing the consistency and confidence required for repeated high-speed sessions.

The suspension is built around Pit Garage Spec Nitron R3 coilovers, allowing precise chassis tuning for different circuits while maintaining excellent mechanical grip and stability.

Inside the cockpit, the car is equipped with a JQ Werks GEN 2 Racing Steering Wheel System, giving the driver direct access to essential vehicle controls through a purpose-built motorsport interface. The system complements the development car’s track-focused setup while creating a more connected and intuitive driving environment.

The Next Chapter

Development never truly ends.

The next phase for Tim's Supra is already underway. With the aerodynamic package now thoroughly validated, attention turns toward increasing power.

The car will soon receive a larger turbocharger along with a built transmission, unlocking the next level of performance and allowing us to explore the full potential of the GT4+ platform.

The goal isn't simply to make more horsepower.

It's to build a faster, more complete Time Attack car while continuing to develop products that our customers can trust on both the street and the racetrack.
