Ridgeline Motorsport F82 M4 Shop Car Version II

Chasing Lap Times Without Sacrificing Style

Building a fast race car is one thing. Building one that can dominate on track while still looking at home on the street is something entirely different.

The Ridgeline Motorsport F82 M4 Shop Car V2 was created to prove that both are possible. Serving as one of our primary development platforms, this car has competed in multiple Gridlife and Global Time Attack events while continuing to evolve alongside our product lineup.

From the very beginning, our goal has never been to simply build another dedicated race car.

Our goal is to build the fastest F-Chassis BMW possible—without losing the aesthetics, drivability, and balance that make these cars enjoyable beyond the racetrack.

That philosophy ultimately became the foundation of the GT4+ Aero Program.

The Complete GT4+ Aero System

The car is equipped with the complete Ridgeline Motorsport F8X GT4+ Aero Kit, developed through years of track testing, and real-world competition.

The front splitter, dive planes, and GT4+ rear wing work together as a complete aerodynamic package, producing meaningful downforce while maintaining predictable aerodynamic balance across a wide range of speeds.

Complementing the GT4+ package is the AlpineX MP Side Skirt, completing the side profile while improving airflow management along the length of the chassis.

Every component was designed with function first—but without compromising the aggressive OEM-inspired design language that defines the GT4+ platform.

Engineered Around the Chassis

A successful Time Attack car is built around far more than horsepower.

The Shop Car V2 rides on Pit Garage-spec Nitron R3 suspension, providing the damping precision and adjustability required to maximize grip under changing track conditions.

A complete SPL Parts Kinematic Package allows every aspect of the suspension geometry to be optimized, delivering improved steering precision, tire contact, and chassis consistency throughout an entire session.

Braking is handled by the Paragon ENP Brake Kit, providing exceptional stopping power and thermal capacity for repeated competitive laps.

Completing the chassis is a set of Silver BBS E88 motorsport wheels, an iconic choice that continues to define some of the world's most serious race cars.

A Driver-Focused Cockpit

Inside, every component exists to improve the connection between the driver and the car.

A pair of Recaro Pole Position seats, finished with custom Green Pepita inserts, blends classic BMW heritage with modern motorsport function, creating an interior that is both distinctive and purposeful.

Mounted ahead of the driver is the JQ Werks GEN2 Clubsport Line Hub System, paired with a Sparco steering wheel, delivering the precise steering feel and race-inspired ergonomics expected from a dedicated competition car while maintaining an exceptionally clean cockpit.

The interior reflects the same philosophy as the exterior—performance first, without sacrificing thoughtful design.

More Than a Race Car

The RM F82 M4 Shop Car V2 has spent countless laps competing at Gridlife and Global Time Attack, serving as both a competitive race car and an ongoing development platform for future Ridgeline Motorsport products.

Every event provides another opportunity to validate our engineering, collect data, and refine the next generation of components.

But perhaps more importantly, this car demonstrates what the GT4+ philosophy has always been about.

Not building the most extreme race car possible.

Building one that can set competitive lap times, look exceptional from every angle, and still retain the refinement and drivability that make you want to take it out for a canyon drive or a weekend cruise.

To us, that's what the perfect F-Chassis BMW should be.

And that's exactly why the GT4+ Kit was created.
